Why a site needs monitoring

A site changes even when nobody touches it. A new version of the platform can break canonical tags, an edit to one page can drop it from the index, and a certificate or a redirect can stop working. Search Console shows such things right away, while visits show them only weeks later.

Monitoring is cheaper than repairing the consequences. It does not promise a jump in positions. It promises that you will not lose by accident what you already have.

What we do every month

• An indexing review in Search Console: new errors, pages that dropped out of the index, changes per category.
• Tracking the Core Web Vitals report and an alert when speed gets worse.
• A check of the sitemap, canonical tags and redirects, so no address leads to an error.
• Fixing what broke, within the agreed scope for the month.
• A one-page report: what was found, what was fixed, what remains and what we keep watching.

Two levels

Basic monitoring covers tracking, alerts and a smaller number of fixes per month. Monitoring with optimisation adds work on pages close to page one, refreshing older pages and a larger number of fixes, with a call once every three months.

If you also need regular content writing and link building, those are separate growth packages, and monitoring fits alongside them. If you already have website maintenance from us, monitoring is agreed together with it.

How it starts

It starts with the free Search Console review. Its findings are the starting point: what gets fixed right away and what goes into the monthly work. The contract runs for three months, because in a shorter period there is nothing to measure.
