What online payment is and who it's for

Online payment is the technical link between your site and the systems that take money: card processors and internet payment services. A customer chooses a product or service, enters card details or is redirected to their payment service, the transaction is processed, and the money - minus a fee - lands in your account. The site itself never stores the card number; the processor does, which is both the legal and the only secure way to do it.

It's for any site that needs to take money, not just display an offer: online stores, booking and appointment sites, subscription services, sites selling digital products (courses, e-books, memberships), and businesses that take deposits or advance payments. If customers currently call you to pay, or transfer to your account and wait to be checked off, this service bridges exactly that step.

Advantages compared to alternatives

The main alternative isn't a different way to pay online, it's no payment on the site at all: a contact form, a phone call, a bank transfer. The difference is the moment of decision - a customer who finishes everything while still on the site buys now, while one who has to call or wait for transfer instructions often gives up or delays. How we work on online payment

We work with you from choosing a processor to the first successful transaction. First we establish what you're selling (a single product, a subscription, a booking, digital content), how many customers you expect and which countries you sell in, since that decides which service fits best - Stripe, PayPal or local processors like Klarna, iDEAL and Bancontact all come into play depending on need. We then build the payment flow on the site: cart, delivery or tax calculation, the payment page and a confirmation page, so the customer always knows where they stand.

Integration is technically confirmed feasible for every processor mentioned, and it's our job to connect it, configure test mode and verify the whole flow with a trial transaction before the site goes live. After launch we train you to see payments and handle refunds yourself, and to recognise failed transactions. When you want instalment payment, credit payment or multi-currency billing, it's added as an upgrade on the same foundation, without rebuilding the site.
